Now, this is my brand new and most favorite for this summer: a very sexy maxi cotton skirt. Voila (as I already wrote, the French letters are corrected by the WordPress, I can not use the correct French symbols here :)):

I have tried it with a top, jacket, swimming suit (without an underskirt) – all ways look great. The best thing about it is that I can transform it to a strapless dress (lift it over my bust), put a bikini under it and look very stunning on the beach. White dress with a black bikini …. wow!! Well, so far I can not place the beach photos – but I promise them as soon I get to the marine scene! This little photo session can substitute my sexy beach pics :). By the way, it was quite warm outside but I didn’t feel the heat because the skirt is so transparent and very light (weighs almost 200 gr).
Detailed PATTERN for sizes S-M, L-XL can be downloaded from here:
This nice mosaic on the floor is made after my recent travels to Spain & Austria. The colors are definitely the ones you find in Seville Arabic tiles Azulejo. There are mostly colors of nature: blue of the sea, green of the grass, yellow from the sand and brown from the earth. Some of the tiles can be seen in my collage:
Placing the tiles in the non-symmetrical form was inspired by the Hundertwasser House in Vienna:
The most difficult part of the project was the placing the tiles and colors (almost 60 different colors were used in this carpet) in the “right order”. Sometimes I started sorting the crocheted pieces out at 6 p.m. and finished at 6 a.m. So far it’s the biggest of my projects, but not the longest one :).

A dress from the Canadian collection “Migrant Muse” created by 2 designers from Toronto John Muscat & Jennifer Wells (LINE Knitwear) and my “short” interpretation of it:
Original maxi boho style looks great on me, but so far I found no places I could visit in a maxi dress. Pity! 🙂 Usually I prefer casual style, so I decided to shorten this dress, change sleeves and the form of the skirt. The thick cotton yarn is very soft and warm, which is very comfortable in fall and spring. And since I have not needed the yarn for the longer dress, I’ve transferred the rest of it into a knee length skirt and put on Etsy:

I’ve crocheted several projects inspired by the Odd Molly design, now it’s my favorite.
The first photo was taken right after I have finished it in a bus – brand new and not washed yet :). Yea, I always take my crochet & yarns everywhere… Addictive people will definitely understand such behavior. I found out that I could have a little hook even on a flight (but have not tried yet).
It does look great (all photos are clickable!)!
From the rest of the yarn I’ve managed to crochet a short skirt (available on Etsy):
My hobby grants me so many different yarns (left from many crochet projects), that I had to combine them together into this artful tank top (all photos are clickable):
It’s like an abstract painting using a hook and yarn instead of a brush and paint – you work different stitches and techniques together in a way that you think fit and make a wearable crochet item.
Not a bad idea for getting rid of small pieces of yarn :).
One of my latest crocheted jackets (all photos are clickable):
I took it for the photo-session in Paris:
And to Germany:
Originally the idea was with longer sleeves and another patterns, but this way is more practical for the cold summer. At least for me – the bones in my skinny back are very often cold and I need to cover my back even by the “room temperature” :(.
One of my longest projects was creating this lace jacket. I admit – it took about 1 year to crochet, taking into account that the black thread was impossible to work with in the evening – my eyes hurt after 30 minutes crocheting by the artificial light source. But the result was really stunning:
I used cotton, 565 meters per 100 gr (approx. 2,750 yards to pound). It equals to crochet thread number 10.
Another thing I did not want to hurt my eyes was the laser operation I undergone in 2008. Actually I’m very satisfied with the results: from myopia (-8) and slight myopic astigmatism is nothing left, I have a 100 % sight now!!! However I would not recommend the operation to everybody – it is a serious risk and nobody can give you a 100 % guaranty that everything will be perfect. It all depends on your own health condition.
