Black top/skirt with the central blue panel – PATTERN

Once again I was crocheting with black yarn and wanted to make black motifs in this top somewhat more visible. Why not to emphasize the central panel of 4 round motifs with another colour?

The openwork pattern reminds me of the fine craftsmanship – beautifully carved intricate geometric ornaments in the Eastern architecture. For example these elaborate designs are from Marrakech:

Museum Dar Si Said    Marrakech

The panel with the “crochet carving” : )  is in front of the top, back is made in the triangle shape – it widens towards the bottom and slightly drapes around hips:

This beautiful crochet top is a practical choice for days when you want to be both chic and comfortable. It can be worn during pregnancy – it’s fitted at bust level with positive ease over your belly. The design allows to convert it into a knee length skirt. Back is made in one piece so that this garment widens towards the bottom. The garment is convertible – you can wear it with a black bra so it becomes lovely summer top. Or choose any matching top/sweater to wear with your knee length skirt:
