Geometry in crochet – triangle and diagonal skirt – PATTERN

One of the latest maxi skirts was made with mixed bamboo/rayon/linen yarn. It was quite interesting to crochet because skirt was worked in one piece and two colours were combined in a composition of stripes and triangles.

Crochet skirt pattern. Geometric patterns make crochet garments visually effective – you can count on this skirt with asymmetric hem to bring more dynamic to your look. Combining two colours is a great way to grab a lot of attention, but balance one bright colour with a softer one, see what beautiful variations you can come up with. Crochet skirt pattern. I have tried it as a strapless dress and it looked stunning too. The skirt is quite stretchable and fits hips 94-102 cm (37-40”). It drapes well,  but sometimes little ruffles are needed to avoid excessive draping. Here is variant with four little ruffles:

    1. Hello Baha Queen,

Thank you very much for the interest!
It’s a pleasure to read your comments about my patterns!💕

If each yarn ball has 500 yards then you will need 900 yards of turquoise (or 1250 yards for a bigger size) and 1100 yards of light brown (or 1600 yards for a bigger size). I’m 5’75”, for other height yarn usage might vary.

      Happy crocheting!
      heart
